2018 Year End Message from the CEO

A 2018 Year End Message from Tsymmetry's CEO

Published on: December 21, 2018

To the Firm:

I’d like to take this opportunity to extend my appreciation to Tsymmetry’s employees, teaming partners, service providers and Federal clients for combining to make this another banner year for the Firm.  In 2018, we experienced our fifth straight year of double-digit growth, achieved record revenues, generated exemplary CPARs on our core programs, added new prime contracts to our portfolio, and launched campaigns to pursue multiple large and potentially groundbreaking new business opportunities.

These accomplishments would not have been possible without the contribution of our talented and dedicated staff who, as always, are tightly aligned to both Tsymmetry’s Core Values and our clients’ important Missions.  For example, we saw a record number of promotions, employee recognition awards and kudos from our clients.  While our insurance premiums have climbed more than 50% over the last four years, the Firm has absorbed 100% of these increases each of those years, passing none of the added cost to our employees.  We finished our second year of partnership with The Epilepsy Foundation and doubled our combined donations over prior year, illustrating our corporate culture of giving back.

Investment has always been a significant component of the Firm’s strategy.  This year we launched a subsidiary, Tsymmetry Colombia S.A.S., in Bogota to support our growing international law enforcement business and created key management consulting services designed to drive additional value for our clients.  We made a number of strategic hires, including Mark Russo who, after seven years of providing management consulting advisory to Tsymmetry, joined as our first Chief Growth Officer.

Since graduating from our small business status in January 2018, we have remained focused on our growth strategy and are working diligently to evolve Tsymmetry in a manner that will benefit our employees and their families and support the clients who place their trust in us to deliver key services for their mission.  Looking to 2019, we reaffirm our commitment to our business, our employees and our clients and anticipate another successful and rewarding year.

Please be safe over the holiday season, take time to relax and re-energize in the company of family and friends and know that we appreciate all you have contributed, and will continue to contribute, to the Firm.  I look forward to working with all of you in the New Year.

Happy Holidays,

Todd Sickles
